The specimen features a sparkling carpet of translucent, pale champagne-to-cream crystals covering a sculptural matrix, accented by delicate white crystalline sprays and clusters. Its upright, angular formation creates a striking natural display, while numerous reflective crystal faces give the surface a subtle shimmer.

Thaumasite is an unusual hydrated calcium silicate sulfate carbonate mineral, frequently associated with low-temperature mineral formation in cavities and fractures. The historic trap-rock quarries around Paterson, New Jersey, are renowned for their diverse mineral assemblages, including Prehnite, Thaumasite, and numerous zeolite species. Specimens from this classic American collecting region are especially appealing to collectors interested in historic northeastern United States mineral localities.

https://www.thecrystalary.com/products/creedite-cobaltian-variety-santa-eulalia-mining-district-aquiles-serdan-municipality-chihuahua-mexico-copy
