Bright vitreous luster across the crystal faces creates flashes of almost metallic-looking blue against the matrix.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSeveral crystals are particularly well developed, with distinct geometric faces and locally gemmy interiors. Their placement within a natural pocket in the matrix gives the specimen an especially attractive presentation, with the dark host rock framing intensely colored Scorodite.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOjuela is an important locality for the species, having produced unusually fine blue Scorodite crystals.
