Clear growth rings from approximately central Oregon.

Petrified wood is a fossil formed when ancient wood is gradually replaced by minerals while preserving the original structure of the tree, including its grain and growth rings. The beautiful colors are created by trace minerals present during fossilization, with iron producing reds and oranges, copper creating greens and blues, and other elements contributing a wide range of natural hues. Each specimen is a unique combination of fossilized history and mineral beauty.

Ex. Ray Berry Collection.
