Hello! I'm Mel!

I'm the owner of The Crystalary, a fine mineral gallery in the heart of Cincinnati. I co-operate the gallery along with Nancy, who specializes in estate collection planning, management, and is currently training at GIA.

I remember my first rock I ever collected: a sulphur crystal when I was 8. Almost 29 years of collecting later, The Crystalary became an official company.

Today we are a team of contracted Mineralogists, a professional mineral photographer, and me guiding the collection, inventory, and business direction efforts.
