The crystals are very pale lavender, with the color becoming most apparent in the transparent upper portions and terminations. Both principal crystals transition from somewhat cloudy, inclusion-rich bases into clearer, glassier tips, a characteristic that gives them a beautiful luminous appearance under direct lighting. The terminations are well defined, and the prism faces show fine natural horizontal growth striations.
