A highly crystalline specimen of colorless to icy-white Celestine displaying abundant bladed and tabular crystals with a bright vitreous to pearly luster. Intergrown crystals create an attractive layered, radiating structure across nearly the entire specimen.
Celestine is a strontium sulfate mineral best known for its pale blue varieties, although the classic Clay Center occurrence in Ohio is also known for beautiful colorless to white crystalline material.
