A striking and substantial specimen of barite from the renowned Linwood Mine, featuring a dramatic cluster of broad tabular crystals in soft champagne, honey, and pale golden hues. The crystals display sharply defined edges, exceptional thickness, and an imposing architectural presence that immediately commands attention. Our favorite feature is the complete Barite crystal that measures 6.8 x 2.5 cm.
The specimen is composed of multiple intergrown barite crystals arranged in an attractive three-dimensional formation. Individual crystals exhibit frosted faces with a subtle satiny luster, while translucent edges reveal warm golden coloration when illuminated. The contrast between the textured crystal surfaces and the specimen's geometric form creates a visually compelling display from every angle. This specimen is also very fluorescent in long wave.
