Blue Calcite is a translucent to opaque variety of calcite (CaCO₃), recognized for its soft blue coloration. The color is caused by trace mineral impurities such as copper and strontium, and structural variations within the calcite crystal.

Calcite forms in a wide range of geological environments, including sedimentary and hydrothermal settings. Blue Calcite is commonly sourced from Mexico, where it occurs in massive formations suitable for polished shapes.

When shaped into palm stones, Blue Calcite highlights its smooth texture and natural color gradation, with each piece displaying unique patterns and tonal variation.
