A substantial Tiger’s Eye specimen from Africa displaying rich golden-yellow, amber, reddish-brown and deep brown coloration. The exposed surfaces reveal densely packed, parallel fibrous structures that produce the characteristic silky appearance associated with Tiger’s Eye.
One side of the specimen shows particularly strong golden fibrous development, with alternating bands of darker brown material creating dramatic contrast. Other surfaces expose broader reddish-brown areas and the natural massive structure of the material. The combination of golden fibers and darker iron-rich coloration gives the specimen considerable texture and depth.
Tiger’s Eye is a quartz-rich material characterized by its distinctive parallel fibrous structure and chatoyant optical effect.
