The specimen is richly crystallized across its display surface, with overlapping Calcite crystals forming a bright, sculptural aggregate with excellent vitreous luster.
The Calcite displays an attractive combination of compressed rhombohedral and modified crystal forms, with larger individual crystals rising above a finer crystalline layer. Many of the crystals are remarkably clear, revealing internal growth features, subtle inclusions, and delicate striations that become especially visible under magnification.
