An attractive pale seafoam-green Prehnite specimen composed of densely intergrown, translucent crystals forming layered, radiating aggregates across the surface. The crystals show a soft vitreous to pearly luster with delicate striations and stepped growth, creating a highly textured, sparkling appearance. Areas of whitish secondary mineralization provide subtle contrast against the cool green Prehnite.
Prehnite is a calcium-aluminum silicate commonly found lining cavities and fractures in basaltic volcanic rocks. Lonavala is a well-documented Indian Prehnite locality and is particularly known for attractive pale green crystalline aggregates and unusual crystal habits.
