Throughout the specimen, many of the larger Fluorite cubes reveal darker lavender-to-purple phantoms within their interiors. These phantom zones follow the cubic geometry of the surrounding crystals, recording earlier stages of Fluorite growth that were later enclosed by subsequent layers of paler, more transparent material.
