This Fluorite displays shades ranging from soft lavender along thinner edges to considerably deeper smoky violet through the thicker portions of the specimen. Broad cubic faces exhibit intricate stepped and terraced growth patterns, with overlapping generations of Fluorite producing considerable surface detail and subtle geometric zoning.
Several glassy, colorless-to-smoky Calcites rise prominently from the purple Fluorite, creating an attractive contrast in both color and crystal habit. Warm ochre-brown mineralization occurs throughout portions of the specimen, highlighting boundaries between the crystals and adding an earthy contrast to the cooler purple coloration.
