My eye was first drawn to this specimen's stacked formation of fluorite on the left, rising delicately from the white matrix and surrounding calcite crystals. The overlapping cubes build upward in a graceful arrangement, creating a strong focal point without making the specimen feel heavy.
The icy blue-gray fluorite is nearly colorless, with a pop of phantom in the center. Its translucency allows light to pass softly through the larger crystals, while stepped edges and layered growth give the principal cluster added depth. Smaller fluorite cubes are scattered across the matrix that carry the composition forward, bringing your eye inward to look deeper into the piece. White calcite formations provide textural contrast to the cleaner geometry of the fluorite.
Some minor edge wear and natural contacts are present, particularly among the fluorite crystals, but the principal display remains attractive and well defined.
