A classic British tungsten-ore specimen featuring a substantial mass of dark steel-gray to black bladed Wolframite embedded in contrasting milky white Quartz. Small cream to honey-colored areas of Scheelite occur along the Wolframite-Quartz contacts, creating a representative example of the characteristic tungsten mineralization for which Carrock Mine is famous. The metallic to submetallic Wolframite shows pronounced bladed texture and stands prominently against the bright Quartz matrix.
