A rich cluster of pearly white to colorless Analcime crystals covers the matrix, with numerous well-developed trapezohedral crystals displaying sharp geometric form and softly lustrous faces. Several larger crystals rise prominently above the cluster, surrounded by smaller intergrown crystals that provide excellent coverage across the specimen.
Analcime is a zeolite-group mineral commonly found in cavities within volcanic rocks. The Paterson area of New Jersey is a classic American mineral locality, historically known for producing attractive zeolite specimens including Analcime.
