SEPTARIAN NODULE- Polished Face Half- Utah
Septarian nodules are a type of concretion found all over the world. They are thought to be formed from mud that cracks due to dehydration, and calcite forms in the resulting cavity. This particular specimen is half of a nodule from Utah, and the face has been polished. More often than not, nodules are cut into slices, but in this case you get half of the giant rock! No nodule is exactly the same. The stand is included.
