This statement ring was made by our in-house silversmith Jacob Mortensen. The stone is an Aurora Opal doublet. Aurora Opal is a lab grown Opal, possessing the same chemical composition as natural opals but without the price tag. The slice has been set behind a Clear Quartz top, giving it additional hardiness and minimizing the scratching and discoloration that can occur with Opals. This stone looks incredible, showing different color and fire from different angles, and looks absolutely incredible in the sunlight. Seriously, all of the pictures are taken in natural lighting with no editing to speak of! The ring is crafted in .925 Sterling Silver. The stone is 1x2cm, and the ring is a sz. 7.5.
