Highly prized dendritic Sweetwater Agate from the Agate Flats north of Sweetwater River. These famous agates have been collected close to 150 years. This rough specimen has fantastic dendritic trees and translucency. Green fluorescence under long wave.
Ex. Ray Berry Collection. Ray Berry was a respected Colorado mineral collector and mining claim owner whose passion for minerals spanned more than 40 years. He owned and operated several mining claims during his collecting career and was an active member of the Colorado Springs Mineralogical Society, where he served as both Show Committee Chairman and President. Ray was also a dedicated member of Friends of Mineralogy. His collection reflects a lifetime devoted to mineral collecting, mining, and the advancement of the hobby. Ray passed away in 2017.
