A slender, pale blue to nearly colorless barite crystal preserved as an older Colorado locality specimen. The crystal shows the strongly elongated habit sometimes encountered in barite, with pronounced longitudinal growth lines running the length of its glassy faces. Subtle internal veils and inclusions give the otherwise transparent crystal a faint smoky-blue cast.
