An interesting old Nevada specimen featuring a concentrated coating of blue-green to turquoise Scorodite across a quartz-rich matrix, accompanied by abundant dark metallic Chalcocite. Under magnification, the Scorodite occurs as dense aggregates of tiny sparkling crystals, providing excellent color contrast against the black metallic mineralization and pale matrix. Scattered iron-oxide staining adds warm ochre accents across the surface.
