An older Colombian specimen composed of intergrown translucent calcite crystals carrying scattered inclusions. The calcite forms a compact cluster of overlapping rhombohedral crystals, some retaining reasonably sharp faces and others showing natural contact or cleavage surfaces. Fine mineral inclusions cloud portions of the otherwise pale, glassy calcite and give the piece considerably more visual texture than a simple calcite cluster.
